We don’t just sell certified material. We re-certify it ourselves and then have an independent expert verify it. This is our definition of uncompromising integrity.
FORMS: Sheet / Welded Pipe / Seamless Pipe/Tubes/Rod/Bar
STANDARDS: ASTM B265, B862, B861
UNS: R50400-H
W.Nr.: 3.7035-H
No. Grade 2H is chemically identical to Grade 2 (UNS R50400) but is certified for higher mechanical strength. It meets the additional yield and tensile strength requirements typically demanded by the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code.
The “H” stands for “High mechanical property compliance”, not hardness or heat treatment. It indicates that the material has passed mechanical testing verifying:
• Yield ≥ 380 MPa
• Tensile ≥ 480 MPa
Grade 2H is ideal for pressure-retaining components where strength documentation is mandatory.
It is widely used in:
• ASME-certified pressure vessels
• Heat exchangers in chemical and power plants
• High-pressure or load-bearing pipe systems
• Marine and desalination plants needing strength + corrosion resistance
Yes, but with controlled procedures:
• Pre-weld cleanliness is critical
• In critical systems, preheating or post-weld stress relief may be required
• Use of inert shielding (argon or helium) is mandatory to prevent contamination
Yes. We offer 3.2 certification with third-party witness by accredited bodies (e.g., TÜV, SGS, BV) for EPC, nuclear, or offshore projects.
Grade 2H provides high strength without alloying, making it easier to weld and more corrosion resistant, but it has lower strength than Grade 5. Use Grade 2H for pressure vessels and process systems. Use Grade 5 for aerospace, high-performance, and medical implants.
• Complete chemical profile verification
• MTCs per EN 10204 3.1 (3.2 optional)
• Optional third-party inspection (SGS, BV, TÜV)
Grade 2H – Enhanced Strength CP Titanium
“Same chemistry. More muscle.”
Titanium Grade 2H delivers higher yield and tensile strength—perfect for pressure vessels and high-stress chemical or marine pipelines.
Stronger variant of Grade 2 with certified mechanicals (≥380 MPa yield, ≥480 MPa tensile). Ideal for pressure vessels, EPC piping & structural use.
• High-strength for pressure systems & offshore structures
• Surface: pickled, blasted, ground | MTC + tensile tests
• For critical piping in oil & gas, chemical, marine
• NDT + hydrotested | traceable & certified to 2H limits
• Load-bearing flanges, shafts, fittings
• Annealed or cold-worked | Full mechanicals & MTC
• Thin-wall tube for seawater, HVAC, condensers
• Pneumatic test | 2H strength adds durability
Grade 1 – High purity, low mechanical strength
Grade 2 – Balanced strength and corrosion resistance
Grade 5 Ti-6Al-4V – Aerospace & high-performance use
