No. It is a hard-to-machine material. Carbide tooling, slow speeds, and cooling systems are essential. Use solution-annealed condition for rough machining.

625 is softer and better for corrosion; 718 is much stronger due to age hardening. Choose 718 for structural integrity under load and temperature.
