C4 offers better thermal stability and lower impurity tolerance, ideal for high-temp oxidizing conditions. C276 has broader chemical resistance and is more commonly available.
While resistant, C276 is preferred for seawater. C4 is more optimized for hot oxidizing media and chloride stress cracking.
Yes. C4 has excellent weldability due to low carbon and silicon. Use matching filler metal and minimize heat input.
Operating up to 1040°C in oxidizing environments. For reducing media, performance varies—consult design codes.
Yes. We offer 3.2 certified material upon request with third-party witnessing from SGS, Lloyd’s, etc.
Alloys are delivered with full traceability & certified documentation:
• Certificates: EN 10204 3.1 & optional 3.2 (SGS, TÜV, BV)
• Chemical analysis traceable to melt/heat number
• Third-party verification available upon request
